Application form & how to apply

To apply for a room in Malden Hall, please first check room availability.

When you have selected your preferred room, download the contact form – it includes:

  • Parental guarantee.
  • Rental agreement.
  • Acceptable usage policy form.
  • Standing order form for those with a UK bank account – if you don’t have a UK bank account yet, ignore this form.

Once someone has reserved a room, the website shows it as 'Reserved' – but only for five working days until your deposit and papers are received.

If a deposit is not received within this time, the room will be made available to other prospective tenants.

Our bank information can be found on the second page of the rental agreement.

Deposits will be confirmed by e-mail and then forwarded to the Deposit Protection Service who will confirm receipt by e-mail directly to you. They – not us – hold the deposit for the duration of the tenancy.

When the deposit and all the paperwork have been received, the website will show the room has been 'Let'. A countersigned copy of the contract will sent to you.
